We started our day of celebrations by driving up Immigration Canyon to meet the Butterfield's for breakfast. It was awesome! The weather was perfect, and the boys were in heaven! They wanted to stay all day, but we finally were able to convince them to leave, by reminding them we were on our way to the parade!
We had so much yummy food to choose from, and they ate donuts!! I guess they were just setting a pattern of how they would be eating the rest of the day...sugar, sugar, & more sugar!

They had fun roasting marshmallows in the fire. Austin was quite the challenge keeping him out of it! He can be a handful!!

With Austins birthday coming up, Great Grandma B. was teaching him how to hold up 3 fingers. It was so funny to watch him try to hold his pinky down!
Time for the parade... wait, it's starting to rain!It only sprinkled a little bit, but I was nervous. Karl, Sadie, & I played it safe in the van for a while. It stopped just before the parade started, phew!

The 4th of July is also my dad's birthday!! It's so fun to celebrate on the 4th! He is always telling us that the parade and fireworks is only for him! We love you Dad!! Happy Birthday!

After a delicious barbecue at Grandma & Grandpa's we were off to the park for some hot, but fun times. Austin & Cash riding the swings. They also slid down a HUGE shark slide, walked around looking at all the cool cars, played on the playground, and enjoyed some great local entertainment!
Logan, Hannah, Summer, Sadie, Austin, & MeganWe ended the day at Grandma & Grandpa Clayton's for another great barbecue!
