Children's Parade

Let the 24th of July festivities begin!!! The Children's Parade was a success! It was hot, but we all survived. The theme this year was something about living your dreams. So, we had the kids dress up as what they want to be when they grow up. Don't be fooled by my apron, I don't want to be Amish, I was trying to go for the "Mommy look"! Lol! Logan had a few options he kept throwing at us, but narrowed it down to a "Builder". Of course, Austin also wanted to go with that idea...easy enough!
They struggled at first while we waited for it to begin, but as soon as we were moving, they took there places on the float like they were born to be in that parade!! Austin had the best parade wave, and at one point, when Ed called back saying there were people on both sides of the road, he had both arms going. It was so funny! Logan didn't wave, but he looked like he felt pretty important. The hard hats didn't stay on very well, so Austin rode on a tractor as a farmer instead, but Logan stayed true to his dream, and held out as a builder!!!
