Memorial Day

Well, we had a big day planned of an early morning hike, swimming, and a fun barbecue at Grandma and Grandpa Butterfield's, but it all came crashing down when things broke at the greenhouses. In spite of the sudden change of plans, we made it a fun day! Jason and Rob had to call Chris and Tanner for some help, and because of them, they were able to get things fixed quickly. I picked up pizza for all of us, and we just hung out. The kids played on Chris's 4-wheeler while we ate, and then we played on Paul & Patty's trampoline & tire swing.

Hannah, Logan, Austin, & Megan

This is Chris Hansen, he works for us at the greenhouses, and Austin has found a special bond with him. He is a great example for our boys. His older brother is on a mission to Africa right now. His mom always says how much my boys remind her of her boys when they were little. It's fun to hear.

This was about 4 in the afternoon, they were pretty tired. Logan was dosing off until he heard me take a picture of Austin. He wasn't thrilled about this.
And this is how Austin ended his day.
