Trunk 'R' Treat

After Jason got home from work, they immediately started to clean out, and carve some pumpkins! We let them pick out the pumpkins they wanted, and then we had them draw a face of what they wanted them to look like. They weren't very original, but we were actually glad, because we were in quite the hurry to get to the trunk 'r' treat. Logan knew there was going to be a pumpkin carving contest there, so he was not going to let us get away without participating. Unfortunately for the planning committee, there were not very many people that participated. Fortunately for us, because of that, all 3 of the kids won a prize!

Sadie refused to wear the wig, so this one picture was about how long it lasted. I honestly didn't care, other than we had spent money on that wig. We couldn't get Logan to wear a wig either. His Jersey was Clay Matthews of the Packers, so we begged him to wear a long, blond wig just to make it more like Clay, but when we found one.... it was too itchy for him.

Like always, the night was a huge success, and at the end of it all, we headed over to Sister Berta Lou Holt's house with just about the rest of the ward, for her famous popcorn balls. I love our tiny little community, and it's traditions like that that make it even better.
