Minnetonka Cave

On the last day of our Bear Lake trip, we made a quick stop at the Minnetonka Cave. It was so much fun! The boys absolutely loved it. We had our ups and downs (literally, there was a LOT of steps!), but it was worth it all! The cave is about half of a mile, and from start to finish, you have walked up and down a total of over 900 steps!!! My sister in law, Carrie, went with us with her 2 year old son,Cash. So, between just the 3 adults, we had 4 kids ages 4 & under! Just a few minutes before walking in, my dear Austin, lost his flip-flop over the side of the bridge, and down the mountain! So, between Jason & I, we both had a child to carry. And, don't forget Logan is only 4, so those steps were pretty hard on him to keep up with the group, meaning, that I got to carry him up and down a LOT of steps, while my sweet hubby carried Austin & Sadie, meaning Carrie was stuck carrying Cash almost the entire time!! Being the very end of the trip, the kids were so tired, which is why Carrie had to carry him so much. All in all, it was a good workout, and the boys all loved it! Next year will hopefully be a little easier on us adults!!

Austin was just pulling one of is many silly faces...he always keeps us laughing.

Logan was bound and determined to see a bat! Well, the guide told us that bats only live there in the winter time, so we didn't get to see any flying around. Although, he did show us a dead one!! You could probably guess what Logan's favorite thing about the cave was, yes the dead bat!!

Sadie was perfect, like always. I think she liked the cool air for a change. The hot weather can be so hard on a baby.
