Bear Lake

We were so excited for the annual Mower trip to Bear Lake. We were being silly on our drive there. I was trying to do a pucker pose, when I realized I don't know how to pucker! We were laughing pretty hard at our (my) many attempts at a cute picture. This one was the best we got out of about 15 pictures.

We finally decided to stick with our great smiles. :)

The kids always get so excited when we arrive at the cabin, they run right up to the bedrooms to stake out the top bunk they all want!

The day we got there it rained that night, and continued to rain all way into the next day. So, we decided to skip the beach for that day and headed to the caves.

Later that night, the rain finally cleared out, but it stayed a little too cool for the beach, so we spent the evening swimming in the pool and hot tub.

Aunt Becky came prepared for a little pedi/mani time for Sadie. Despite the somber look on Sadie's face, she was having the time of her life. That little girl absolutely loves her nails being done. I can't wait to take her in for a pedi at a salon one of these days!

Finally, what we had all been waiting for... the BEACH!!!

Grandma, being the cute first grade teacher that she is, brought supplies for the kids to make projects every day. They loved, loved, loved each and every one. The first night, while it rained they made art projects in the cabin. The second night they made these bird feeders out of acorns, peanut butter, and bird seed. The kids were entertained by these for quite some time. Thanks Mom for being such a fun Grandma!!

The last night there, we rode raced on these go carts. It was a cold and long wait, but it was worth it in the end. We all had a blast!

My kids, being the early risers they all are, like to wake up Grandma & Grandpa every monrning. So, they get to hang out a little bit in the mornings before it's time to prepare breakfast for everyone.
